Description

Manage & Lead With Confidence To Transform & Accelerate Your Team

Professional preparation and development has become critical given the high turnover rates and shortness in staffing. Frequently, those transitioning to and serving in mid-level management roles have limited experience and skills for supervision, budget management, data-driven decision making, and/or strategic planning. They also frequently lack skills in more challenging areas like conflict management; documenting disciplinary issues; and managing up, down and across the institution. This lack of experience can cause frustrations within the institution and lead to perceptions of a lack of communication or leadership skills.

Our presenter provides practical resources to train mid-level professionals in areas including:

      • Establishing collaborative relationships
      • Navigating difficult or politically charged situations
      • Communication up, down and sideways
      • Setting a vision and executing it
      • Advocating for your staff
      • Holding yourself and your staff accountable to achieve results
      • Measuring and reporting on success

With the correct skill sets, your mid-level professionals will be able to work effectively and efficiently in helping to propel your institution’s mission and values forward.
