A single Warren Wilson College professor raised her two children in a campus rental. And they made that campus their home, filled with student mentors and babysitters and people looking out for the kids as “a cast of caring characters joined my family’s story,” she wrote. Her “campus kids” were surrounded by role models and support. “This is the place where my kids are known and are at home.”
