PresenterPhotoMatt Davis is currently the Assistant Director of the Student Accessibility Resource Center at Western Kentucky University in Bolling Green, KY.

He is a native of Bowling Green and graduated with both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Social Work from Western Kentucky University. He has extensive experience working with students with disabilities. He currently serves on the Kentucky Statewide Vocational Rehabilitation Council on the Executive Committee as part of the Board of Directors for LifeSkills, Inc. LifeSkills provides mental health, transition services, and drug/alcohol addiction services in the seven-county region. He also serves on the KATS (Kentucky Assistive Technology Service) Advisory Network for the state of Kentucky. He is the past President of the National Wheelcats (NW) and the Kentucky Association of Higher Education and Disability. The NW are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide access to exercise/adaptive sports programs for individuals/groups in the Kentucky and Tennessee region. He is also on the Western Kentucky University ADA Advisory Committee as well as serving as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Social Work at WKU. He is an adult with Spina Bifida and participates in a variety of adaptive sports around the world. He has presented both regionally and nationally on the topic of ADA Compliance and other disability related topics.
